Gypsy souls, magic dust and life beyond the big 50.

Again, I let time slip by before I manage to post again. I have decided though, to compromise myself to do at least one post a week. It is perfectely doable, as long as I organize myself! After a period of almost getting desperate due to the fact that I don´t seem to find a professional path through which I am able to express my creativity (or a professional path at all, as Spain has been having high levels of unemployment for the last year) I decided I would stop feeling sorry for myself and actually fight for things. At the moment we (my love and I) are not in the situation of having to panic about money. We still have some money saved, and though it won´t last forever, we know we can manage for some time. Why not use that time to actually invest energies on my dream, that is to sell handmade by me? So, that´s what´s been taking most of my time lately. Because we went to some friend´s house to have lunch, because my friend is such an inspiring woman, in terms of many things, including clothing, and also because they have central heating in the house, I was inspired to at least think twice about what I was wearing and try to compose a bit my outfit. Ok, not a bit effort, one must assume, but at least I put a skirt on! Yaaay...... :P Anyway, we had a lovely lunch, and ate something I´ve never eaten before. Apparentely it is a french dish, it´s called racklette (or something like that) and it consists of pieces of cheese (different delicious varities) put over a hot plate until melted and eaten with baked potatoes. Really nice. The lunch did me good. I have been getting slightly depressed over the lack of jobs around here and the uncertainty of our lives, so it was good to get out of the house and socialize a bit. Hi all! I´ve been more or less away from this blog, partly because I was so busy with other things (the busiest unemployed in this world, that´s what I call myself), partly because I was away during part of the summer, and then, when winter came....it doesn´t seem so exciting to post about clothes. I love winter clothes, don´t get me wrong. But we live in a place where there´s no central heating and I spend most of my days wraped around so many layers that if I took a picture of myself you´d only see my head coming out of a ball of wool ..... :P Also, I have been crafting a lot and I finally opened my own online store...yaaaaah!
